Each course at the Academy of Music and Sound has a set of requirements to ensure that the course is right for you, so you can enjoy your time with us and achieve your future aspirations.

Once you have applied via the application forms on the right, we will invite you to an audition and interview.

The auditions are on a 1-1 basis to assess your future potential to see what you can do, rather than what you cannot. It’s a great chance for you to see the centre, meet our fantastic tutors and ask any questions. You’re coming to us to learn and improve your skills, so we appreciate everyone has their strengths.

We hold interviews after your audition, to discuss how you want to progress with your music and career, answer any questions you have and get to know you.

We are proud that we build strong relationships with our students, and it all starts here.

Fill in the online application form or directly contact the centre you wish to study at.

A member of the admissions team will book you into an audition and interview.

After a successful audition and interview, you will need to confirm your place with us via an acceptance letter or email.

You will be contacted with term dates and a time to come in for enrolment.

We accept UCAS applications through-out the year, so you can still apply after the UCAS deadline.

The Foundation Degree in Creative Music Production and Foundation Degree in Music Performance requires a UCAS application. It is advisable that you contact us before, as we can book you into an audition and interview prior to your UCAS application being submitted. This will speed up the application process.
